Holy crap, you've got a fantastic sense of comic panel setup! I do indeed find it pretty awesome, although "pretty" is an understatement. Framing those upper panels as if they were pieces hanging in a museum is beautifully inventive, and the addition of the tacks and pieces of tape on the lower panels emphasizes the page's unsettling atmosphere. It gives off a crushing, claustrophobic vibe that's absolutely thrilling to oogle over. The uppermost middle panel, in particular, has a lovely forced perspective that really seems to push the corgi's face past the page and into three-dimensional space.
I love the zipper effect that final, 'taped' panel was drawn in. Not only does it look like a zipper, but the criss-cross of Hellion-corgi-Hellion-corgi looks like a vertical view of gnashing teeth. And I must say, Hellion's shifting eye is very, very creepy. Bravo!

The picture frame frames + museum is something I'm very proud of, thank you! I generally don't hit upon witty things like that. XD
The zipper-teeth effect never occurred to me before, but you're right, they do look like teeth!
Thank you very much for your comment, again Seeing people willing to spend time on a comment makes it all worthwhile.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
